the world's full of spite and malice
During the Battle of Hogwarts, a team of Unspeakables discovered a very powerful and very treacherous ability. They had been experimenting with the Veil in the death room, and do to an accident caused by the most inexperienced and clumsy of the Unspeakables, the impossible occurred. The team of five had managed to pull back someone whose time on earth was yet to be complete, whose life had been taken away from them prematurely...
Sirius Black had emerged before them, still thinking that he was in the ministry and under attack like he had been two years ago at his time of death. Sirius had no memory from his death until this moment, and looked just as he did when he died. It took some time before the team were able to question Sirius who continued to shift through his phases of adulthood, until he stood before them as a young man of 17. His age was linked to the most emotional, and spiritual growth he experienced. Finally able the Unspeakables where finally allowed to begin forming a hypotheses on how this phenomenon occurred.
The clumsy and inexperienced one who had brought Sirius back was the one who discovered the reason: anyone who was murdered by someone else's hand was able to be brought back- therefore eliminating the possibility for the Dark Lord's return. The team reported this to the current minister, Kingsley Shacklebolt, who was astounded, however he ordered the project to stop, and not to reveal this to anyone ever again. Kingsley feared that if word got out about this resurrection, too many people could be brought back at the request of the families and may have dire consequences...
The clumsy and inexperienced Unspeakable was the only one of the team of five that disobeyed Kinsgley's orders. The man began bringing back the greatest witches and wizards, including James Potter and Lily Potter and some of their friends. Those that the man brought back were briefed on what had happened, but the man he hid his identity. The Ressurected were soon released into the world. Word began to spread from those with new-found life about the self proclaimed "Datorvitae", meaning "Life Giver" in Latin. The clumsy and inexperienced Unspeakable began gaining fame under his new alias, but no one knew who was bringing this life, besides his four teammates.
The Datorvitae began plotting, absconding from his original good intentions into not so noble purposes. He began charging for bringing back wrongly taken people, and even hiring people to kill rich family members in order for him to bring them back. He also killed off the other four original members of his team in order to keep his identify safe and hired five new people to trick the Minister. The Datorvitae began asking for favors, killing the loved ones of those who got in his way, before killing those who threaten to bring him down. However, no one knows about the cruel, dark side of the Datorvitae, not even his followers, who continue to see him as a sort of messiah...
With rumors flying, and Ministry now conducting their own investigations, the wizarding world stands in horror at how far greed’s corruptive touch reaches. Harry, Ron and Hermione have doubts about the Datorvitae following their recent victory over Lord Voldemort. Suspicions are coming about in the younger generation, while the older generation views it as a miracle and chance that was given to them. Most elders discourage poking in the Datorvitae's business, but the curiosity is overwhelming. Will a new group of heroes discover the corrupt nature that the Datorvitae has warped into? Or will the Datorvitae prevail and rule the wizarding world through this system of stealing lives and holding their existence captive. Greed warrants all sorts of evil and in the hands of the desperate power like this will wield a disaster the wizarding world is not equipped to deal with.
The golden trio, along with a vast majority of the class that should have graduated this past June are now attempting to finish up their seventh year properly, only this time with classmates of the past. With people returning everyday (some with their memories intact and others not so lucky), they are choosing to begin new lives for themselves in the wizarding worlds, or continuing where they can remember leaving off at Hogwarts. Is this a blessing in disguise or a curse in the works? And what is that dark aura sweeping the nation? The world is full of greed, evil, and spite and malice.
