❊ BACK TO NEVERLAND ❊
"Blimey."
Huffing and puffing he felt as if his body was a mangled mess. He could have cursed Hermione for convincing him that coming back to school was a good idea. He had thought leaving after his sixth year would grant him the privilege of never returning. Hogwarts was a great home from him, it truly was. The thing he loathed was more to do with that of the school work. He would love to be at school if it weren't for well... school. He knew coming back was important, but as the homework piled on he really couldn't help but to begin to hate the premise of this thing called school.
He never thought he'd be stepping foot in the Observation Tower again. For two reasons, one being he almost thought when the war struck that he'd have a fate of death, sadly that fate happened to his brother Fred, but not to himself. The other reason because he just assumed he'd not have to come back after fighting the war. Yet, that didn't seem to be the case, because here he was, war fought and still mangled in the likes of homework. Astronomy homework, observing the moon tonight that was his assignment. An easy one, but that chill of a night’s breeze kept creeping up upon his face.
Even with the homework that he laid upon the ledge, a smile seemed to be on Ronald's face tonight. He loathed homework, he really did, but something about the war being over, something about having his brother Fred back alive made matters so much better this crisp, cool night. He hadn't gotten to see his brother much, but the world felt more whole knowing that everyone in his family was here on Earth. Even having homework made everything seem that much more complete with the world. No thoughts of danger lurking was a nice feeling.
Well, for the time being, no danger. He knew certain people were whispering about people coming back from the dead, some saying it shouldn't be happening, but Ronald would like to rumble those people. He had his brother back and he wanted to keep it that way. He had let the misery of his brother's death take a toll on him for far too long, and he was finally happy again. His whole family was finally happy again, and for people to want to take that away was bloody horrific.
Fumbling with his quill he began to jot down a few notes, as his eyes scanned up into the night sky. A waning gibbous filled the sky tonight, surrounded with many shining, bright lighted stars.
