Fred really enjoyed beer; did he ever mention that before? He also really enjoyed fire whiskey. It was probably his favorite; though he wasn’t too sure it felt the same way about him. He had probably been at the bar for about thirty minutes now. Recently he had just been pretending to be George and so far so good. It was bound to bite him in the ass eventually. After another shot of fire whiskey Fred’s stomach was warning him that he needed to slow down. Also, the lady he had been flirting with seemed to have left. He ordered some chips when the bartender came back, noting that it would be for the best to get something in his stomach.
He waited patiently, flipping a cup around with his wand. It was a bit obnoxious, but then again this was Fred. There were so many reasons why he came all the way to Hogsmeade, but he didn’t do any of them. Really, he was considering visiting the castle… maybe talking to someone to see if they could explain any of this to him. Also, maybe say hello to Peeves. It has been awhile. Instead, Fred was just sitting in The Three Broomsticks making his liver angry. He put his head in his hands for a minute and the chips he ordered were slid toward him. With a flick of his wand he had salt in his hand. The whiskey clouded his head slightly and he probably put a little too much salt on the food.
Fred popped a chip into his mouth and looked around. There weren’t too many people in here, and to be honest he didn’t recognize anyone. That was a shock. Usually Fred knew a lot of people. Then again, he didn’t know who even survived. He grabbed his plate of chips and stood up. It took a minute to completely steady and get his balance, but he made his way over to a table. Fred was completely oblivious that someone’s stuff was already set down at the side of the table. Was he really supposed to look? Company would be great anyway, even if it were completely unwanted by the other party. So, in complete oblivion Fred continued to eat his meal and sip on a butterbeer. For once lately he barely had a care in the world.
